Catherine MacDonald
graduated from the University of the Pacific with a B.A. in English and a Minor in Communication Arts. She holds a Masters
Degree in Education from the University of Nevada. Catherine is a former elementary school teacher in the Washoe County School
District and taught a variety of English and Literature classes at the Truckee Meadows Community College. Catherine created
the first novel writing course at the school and taught The Artist Way in Community Education. She was the Vice-President
for the Romance Writers of Northern Nevada before it disbanded in 2002.
She resigned from Truckee Meadows Community
College to go into business with her husband, Paul. Catherine and Paul own Sierra RV, a full-service dealership offering sales,
service, parts, and rentals. Cathie began appearing on TV and radio with her dog Jack as The RV Lady, offering tips and information
on the RV lifestyle. Cathie and Paul own a 40-foot diesel. They reside in Reno, Nevada.
